{"id":1399,"date":"2026-01-01T00:17:06","date_gmt":"2025-12-31T22:17:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.sultrade.cz\/?post_type=reseni&#038;p=1399"},"modified":"2026-01-01T00:17:07","modified_gmt":"2025-12-31T22:17:07","slug":"technologie-vyroby-2-ethylhexyl-nitratu","status":"publish","type":"reseni","link":"https:\/\/sultrade.cz\/en\/reseni\/technologie-vyroby-2-ethylhexyl-nitratu\/","title":{"rendered":"Production technology of 2 Ethylhexyl Nitrate"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>In 2012\u20132014, SULTRADE, in collaboration with the University of Chemistry and Technology, Prague, conducted a study examining the possibilities of producing 2-ethylhexyl nitrate (2-EHN) in such a way that the newly proposed technology would not infringe on existing patents. 2-EHN is one of the most commonly used additives in diesel fuel to increase the cetane number.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Based on this study, he then designed a pilot-scale unit to verify the feasibility of production.
